“«Para que sean completamente una» (Mary Ward)”

Bienvenida/o a la Congregatio Jesu

Somos la Congregatio Jesu, una congregación de religiosas fundada por una inglesa, Mary Ward, en 1609. Hoy, inspiradas por su visión, vivimos y trabajamos en todo el mundo como compañeras de Jesús en la misión. Estamos llamadas a ser mujeres de esperanza para llevar esperanza.

We can“t wait for the episode. For those who did not already listen in to rhis podcast, we recommend it vividly 👍💛

Today, on the 165th anniversary of her death, we remember Mother Teresa Ball (1794–1861) — a visionary woman of faith who carried Mary Ward's spirit into a new century. Founder of the Loreto branch of our Institute in Ireland, she opened doors of education for girls and women across ...continents, believing deeply that Mary Ward was right, when she proclaimed that "women in time to come will do much."

Teresa Ball's courage, humility and trust in God continue to inspire our Mary Ward family worldwide. May her legacy keep calling us to bold service, justice and the dignity of every person. 🌍💛

We are more than halfway through May. Still praying. Still hoping. Still together. Peace is worth every prayer.

🌍 Laudato Si' Week 2026 🌍
As Congregatio Jesu, we join the global Catholic family in celebrating Laudato Si' Week and strengthen our commitment to "care for our common home." Inspired by Mary Ward's vision of justice, freedom and sincerity, our sisters worldwide ...live out integral ecology every day.

🌾 Across our Provinces and Regions — from Europe to Africa, Asia to Latin America — CJ sisters are sowing seeds of hope through our JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) ministry:

🌿 Empowering women and girls through education and vocational training
🌿 Standing with migrants, refugees and people on the margins
🌿 Promoting sustainable agriculture and creation-care projects in communities
🌿 Advocating for climate justice and the rights of the most vulnerable
🌿 Building interfaith bridges for peace and reconciliation
🌿 Supporting integral human development in our schools, foundations and social centres

Together with Pope Leo XIV and the worldwide Church, we recommit ourselves to listening to "the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor" — and to acting boldly in love.

🙏 May this week strengthen our shared mission to nurture peace, hope and life for all creation.
