From June 23 to July 7, Helena (Generalate) visited the communities of the Loreto Sisters in Timor-Leste, the Philippines, and Vietnam at the invitation of Carmel, the current General Superior of the IBVM.

Carmel & Helena met with candidates, novices, and junior sisters in training to observe their international training program and discuss possible future plans.
In Vietnam, pastoral activities were underway, and, as in Timor-Leste, the need for an early education system for impoverished children was identified as the top priority.

The joint visit with the Loreto Sisters prior to the merger was a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
